Great-grandson of August Sander, second-generation gallerist and fourth-generation art dealer and photographer. He grew up in the trade and has worked in it professionally since 2009 — and has been a programmer since childhood. More than ten years ago, unhappy with the software available to galleries, he began building his own. Galerie Julian Sander in Cologne has been the live pilot ever since.
Lens-based artist and co-founder of MONTANA CANS, Ruediger has spent his career building a brand from scratch. He came to Julian with an idea for a catalogue for artists. A gallerist and an artist — two sides of the market — decided to build something far bigger.
A platform developed by an internationally renowned gallerist and an established artist and businessman over a period of more than 10 years.
